Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–7 pm. This was a weird experience. My question was simple. “What is the difference between the ras el hanout and Moroccan spice blend?” I exclaimed that usually when I see/hear ras el hanout I immediately associate it as a Moroccan spice blend and vice versa someone says Moroccan spice blend I think ras el hanout. So I asked the employee. She proceeds to tell me to smell it and it’s about grinding it and not sure what else was said. Umm what?? I’m not an expert, I can’t just smell something and know what spices are in it and grinding doesn’t change its composition, it’s still the same thing but in different granules…toasting it changes yes, but that wasn’t the question I asked. Then she says I can’t help you. So I just went to grab the packet to read the ingredients myself. So the proper answer should’ve been “the defining spice difference between the two spice blends is that the r-e-h has allspice and lavender, they have similar spices but allspice and lavender differentiates them” But no I was given a rigamarole…almost like she was reading from a Spice&Tea exchange guidebook of what to say to customers. Come to find out she’s the owner. I think she needs to read up and get well versed

The store itself I absolutely love! They have any kind of tea, spice, sugars that you can think of. When you walk into the store the smell is just amazing, I only gave it 3 stars because of the customer service that I received there. Customer service when I went was horrible. I went to this location about an hour and a half before they closed, I was going for some honey granules, since there wasn’t any on the shelf the lady was going to grab a couple jars and make me two small jars of it. However once she told me she was gonna do that, she never actually did it!. She helped another guest out that came in 10 minutes after me, and then she told me that she would be with me in one moment, mind you when she said she was gonna do this I was the only one in the store, another five minutes goes by she still hasn’t gone to the back to grab the granules, another guest comes in grabs what they need and she checks them out and still doesn’t help me, so I ended up leaving, so not a huge fan of the customer service at this location but I do love the store in general

Very knowledgeable staff and helpful also. Big selection of both teas and spices. I can't wait to try out some of the rubs for ribs on the grill. I did try some tea and it was excellent. I will be going back.

I love the atmosphere and the wide variety of spices, herbs, custom cooking blends, fine teas, infusers, and an array of great gift ideas. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! My favorite part of the store is the tea bar which offers all of their fine teas to-go whether you’re craving a hot cup of tea or a refreshing cup of iced tea. It’s especially festive and the smells alone keep me coming back for more!
